After high school classes, he would play the violin as concertmaster of the UP Children�s Ensemble while playing rock music as a lead guitarist in the evenings.
Joining all of the major Philippine symphony orchestras, John has been awarded numerous trophies, citations and plaques as a violinist, environmentalist, television program host, as a supporter of civic projects, and also as a golfer. To date, he plays non-classical music to expose the violin to a greater number of listeners and also maintains a recording studio for corporate projects as well as for his own future albums. Knowledgeable in Intellectual Property Rights, he is often consulted by government and non-government organizations and often invited to attend seminars and workshops in various countries.
